Bloodshot is a British invention - the creation of 34 year old Londoner, Mark Douglas Hill.  Mark is a life-long Bloody Mary & Bullshot obsessive, with a conoisseurs’ palate seasoned over many years working as a development chef and food & drinks writer.


The first bottles of Bloodshot were produced at home in Mark’s Notting Hill development kitchen in 2009. What started out as an out-of-hours attempt to fashion the perfect Bloody Mary ended up astounding its creator with the complexity and integrity of the spirit that emerged from the process.  Many sips and slurps later, the final recipe was decided upon and the first bottles of production Bloodshot rattled off the bottling line in June 2011. 

Bloodshot launched in Selfridges shortly afterwards and one year later is available on three continents.
