Maceration

 

In a process similar to Gin production, we macerate our painstakingly distilled wheat Vodka with a carefully balanced blend of spices, aromatics & botanicals. 

 

The exact blend is a closely guarded secret but we can divulge that it includes smoky chipotle chillies from Mexico, cracked black pepper from Kerala, Spanish lemon peel, German horseradish root, Hungarian coriander seed, hot cayenne pepper from Lousiana and celery seed. 

 

The essential oils and flavour compounds are gently extracted over 36 hours, infusing Bloodshot with its dinstinctive complexity of flavour.  

 

The spiced spirit is then filtered and moved to the blending vats where our master winemaker oversees the final production process.
